The Ceilidh Place prefers to deal with all bookings in a personal manner.  You won't find us on booking.com or any of the other digital platforms.  All our rooms are bespoke and individual, like the booking process itself.  Send us an email or give us a call on (01854) 612103 and let us book you in in person.

Wonderful Winter Deal

If you can stay two (or more!) nights we are running a fantastic Winter Deal from 1st November 2025 until the 29th March 2026 (excluding the period from 23rd December 2025 until 13th February 2025). In a double or twin ensuite room the cost of dinner (two-course a la carte), bed and breakfast for two nights is £380 in total. This rate is based on a minimum two night (consecutive) stay with two people sharing a room. Any additional nights are charged at the same Winter Deal rate of £190 per night for bed, breakfast and two course dinner.

Single rooms are also available on the Winter Deal – the cost is £190 for two nights. Single occupancy of a double-bedded room on the Winter Deal rate is £260 for two nights.

This year's Hogmanay celebrations will be stripped back to the most important things: good people, good music, good food and drink all combining in a communal celebration of the changing of the year.

At a time when the world needs connection and harmony more than ever, we invite you to join us for two evenings of music, hospitality and community as we shake off the old year and welcome the new!

Hogmanay dinner will be a relaxed, informal affair with cantina style communal tables and a delicious buffet before our old friends Dagger Gordon, Duncan MacGillivray and Iain MacBeath entertain us with tunes for dancing and a lively ceilidh to welcome the bells.

January the 1st sees another magnificent line-up of the finest musical talent in Scotland assemble to really get the year started in style! This year maestro whistler and piper Ali Levack brings his trio to the stage, before two of Scotland's finest bands of traditional players light up the evening; Daimh are well regarded as un-challenged champions of straight in the eye Highland music, while Fras have stormed their way through the West coast of Scotland and beyond with their iconic pipe heavy sound. Expect an evening of traditional music of the highest order! Dinner for this evening will be a three course meal with pies – as is tradition! - for the main course.

The cost of these two nights in a standard double ensuite or twin-bedded ensuite room is £400 per person which includes bed, breakfast, dinner and entertainment on 31st December & 1st January, based on two people sharing a room. These two nights are sold as a package and cannot be booked separately.

Payment is in full at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel, 90% is refundable if cancellation is made before 1st December 2025. After that time any monies paid are non-refundable.
