All our rooms are cosy with radios and a well-stocked bookshelf.
They are simply furnished and comfortable and most have a bathroom within. There are no televisions – but each room has a classy radio and a small library. The books have been selected by a number of different readers – all of them well known to us as customers and some may be well known to you too.
There is a very comfortable living room with a pantry off, where you can make tea and coffee at any time of the day or night. Here too, is the honesty bar where you can pour your own drinks (there is always someone downstairs to do it for you of course). This is the sociable heart of the hotel with a balcony for sitting out on warm sunny days and watching the world go by. Or alternatively, for snuggling into the sofa with a good book on a winters day. There is another wee library off, where you can find a quiet place to be – to write, read or contemplate. WiFi is available here too.
You also can sleep rough at The Ceilidh Place. Basic bunk bedded rooms for one, two, three or four persons are in the Clubhouse across the car-park. Eleven rooms can sleep a maximum of 32. It is available to be booked by walking/cycling clubs, big family get-togethers or those who wish to spend less on the bed and more on the wine! We hope we can accommodate you whatever the budget.
